Adath Yisroel Congregation

TK Aluminium was commissioned by Adath Yisroel Congregation to carry out a full joinery replacement across their Bondi building. All original timber framed windows and doors were demolished, disposed of and replaced with a new commercial aluminium system. Works included new awning and fixed frosted panel windows across both floors, a front double hinged door, and a standout custom arch window on the Old South Head Road elevation — fabricated in commercial aluminium framing with laminated glass to replicate the shape of the original arch opening.

Project Scope

TK Aluminium was engaged by Adath Yisroel Congregation to undertake a comprehensive window and door replacement across their building in Bondi. The original joinery throughout was timber framed, and our scope covered full supply, demolition, disposal and installation of a complete new aluminium system.

Works Completed

Our team completed the following works across both the ground and first floor:

  • Supply, demo, disposal and installation of new awning and fixed panel frosted windows across the ground and first floor
  • Supply and installation of a new front double hinged door
  • On the Old South Head Road side of the building, complete removal of an existing arch-shaped timber window
  • Supply and installation of a new arch window in a commercially framed aluminium profile with laminated glass, precisely matching the original opening shape — as seen in the project photos

The conversion from timber to commercial aluminium framing throughout the building delivers improved weather performance, longevity and a clean modern aesthetic, while the bespoke arch window preserves the character of the building's original facade.
